Dr. Jonathan Rashied Wilson Jr. (Mentorship)  is a distinguished visionary social worker with a deep commitment to community empowerment. As an African American descendant of the South, his life journey and academic background have shaped his unique perspective on workforce development. Growing up as the eldest among 12 siblings, Dr. Wilson's formative years instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility and compassion. These qualities are evident in his impactful work, which often explores themes of resilience, family dynamics, and community empowerment. Dr. Wilson has earned academic accolades, including a Bachelor’s in Education, a Master of Science in Human Services Administration, a Master of Social Work, and a Doctor of Education degree. These achievements form the bedrock of his work in social services. In 2013, he founded the Fathership Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through innovative programs and support services. Drawing from his extensive career in social work, Dr. Wilson brings a unique perspective to conversations around education, empowerment, and systemic transformation. His contributions extend beyond the professional realm. Dr. Wilson's dedication to illuminating pathways to resilience and personal growth continues to inspire positive change, reinforcing the belief that transformation is attainable, even amid adversity.
